This wonderful Plague Doctor mask has been hand crafted in Venice out of paper mache. It has a wonderful antique crackle glaze to its surface which adds to its eery look. The plague mask also has italian script to its beak telling the tale of the plague doctor and a picture of an authentic plague doctor. All of this artwork has been done free hand, no transfers were used so no two will ever e identical.
This mask would make a real spectacle at any masked ball but would also create a much talked about interior decoration.
